Earthquake in Japan

On March 11, 2011 took place earthquake of magnitude 8.9 on the Richter scale with epicenter at 130 kilometers from the northeastern coast of Japan. The quake, occurred at a depth of 13.6 km, has caused a tsunami, according to seismologists is one of the largest earthquakes recorded in Japan.
